April 2021 – LESI Marches into Sydney, NSW
After a year of Covid19 menace in 2020, LESI Sydney finally swings its door open in April 2021 with a fanfare! Many special guests were on site, including Councillor for City of Ryde – Mr Simon Zhou.
Two young drummers from Brisbane - LESI Australia’s Headquarters, put up a drum performance demonstrating the effectiveness of the LESI digital teaching platforms. It was so attractive that it prompted many guests to hop off their seats for an impromptu drum lesson conducted on the spot!
Before this official launch of LESI Sydney, news of a new digital drum school for kids had already gone far and wide in the local community. Registrations for trial classes before the official launch of the school were taken up quickly and within the first week of the opening, the sign-up rates were hovering at an amazing 90%.
The enthusiasm of the new drum students couldn’t be more noticeable, bringing the first performance opportunity right through the door, just merely after a month of drum lessons.
LESI Sydney first 2 little drummers were put on the podium of the Community Funday, an event put together by the City of Canada Bay. Thousands of locals witness the 2 LESI Little Drummers drum away their first pieces of music and rewarded them with rounds of thunderous applause. It was a wonderful and brilliant debut performance by LESI Sydney!
LESI Brisbane HQ will continue to work passionately to bring the wonderful digital music teaching platforms to our next port of call – Melbourne, Victoria.
