LESI Family Carnival 2021 Write Up
Father’s Day Sunday was an amazing day for many in the LESI family and the community around the Sunnybank digital music school. LESI Digital Music Education Centre held its very first family carnival on the 5th of September 2021 and had brought fun and entertainment to the LESI families and given the community a bit of an excitement. Whether it was one of the many carnival games or a delicious sushi rolls, adults and children were all thrilled to be out in the sun and enjoying their time at the carnival.
Zachary and his brother Zarek enjoyed their Sunday and had won themselves many prizes from the multiple carnival game stores.1
“Our favourite was the fishing game where we could fish out as many fishes and try to win prizes with the total points under their bellies!” said 6-year-old Zarek excitedly.
“The candies we won were delicious but the BBQ meat kebabs were the best!” added the older sibling Zachary about the exclusive BBQ food truck that brought the most delicious BBQ meats to the event and had everyone chasing the smell.
The LESI family carnival was painstakingly put together by the teachers and staff of the music school and it also had local community leaders James Martin MP, Peter Russo MP, Lewis Lee OAM and Mr John Prescott coming along to celebrate a beautiful Sunday with the children and their families. The carnival even had their own exclusive display of the Queensland Police Service patrol vehicle and with police officers geared to engage the children about community safety and police services.
The LESI Little Drummers took the stage to rock the carnival down and a spectacular performance put up by Brisbane’s first kids’ digital music band – MONSTER ended the carnival on a high note.
LESI Digital Music Education Centre’s first family carnival was so successful that they had already promised the children and the community another one next year!
