Opening of LESI DIGITAL EDUCATION CENTRE in 2017
LESI Digital Music Education Centre opened its doors to an enthusiastic crowd in March 2017.
At the opening ceremony, State Councilor Peter Russo MP gave a speech on behalf of the Australian government, and had expressed great interest in the digital music education center and its potential outreach into the local schools. He showed great appreciation for Principal Ms. Rachel's introduction of an advanced music education and teaching concepts to everyone in Australia. He has also thanked the centre for its commitment to provide the greatest support and assistance to the Australian government, schools and individuals in introducing the nation to a music learning technology of the next century.
He said: "This is indeed a revolutionary teaching model, an innovative teaching concept for music. I am happy that Australian children can now have access to such an advanced and technologically enhanced music learning system through LESI Digital Music Education Center."

Ms. Rachel Zheng, the founder of the center shared her story on how she came to the conclusion that Australia needed a digital music centre and spoke passionately about the philosophy and purpose of it. She was first inspired and motivated by her own son who was 3 years old then. He had picked up digital drumming and fell in love with the teaching methodology which encouraged him to practise daily. In less than 4 months of attending digital drumming classes, he was already invited to a local TV program for a live performance. From then on , Ms Rachel strongly believed that the new and advanced teaching methods of digital music is the future of the music industry. She returned to Australia with confidence that she had found what Australia had been missing for so long.
Digital music teaching through LESI is never boring. It constantly engages the minds of the children and gives them the power to improve and re-evaluate themselves through home learning APPS. Parents are also heavily involved in the learning journey where they can personally enjoy how their children learn music through advanced technology.
Digital music learning should never be a chore because it is the best gift a parent can ever give to a child.
